Kat and Jason are newlyweds!! They hosted an amazing wedding day in Philadelphia at the Please Touch Museum. Their entire day was focused on their love of the city and each other. Their wedding day matched their energy in life and how they are with each other every day. It was truly an incredible celebration – full of special and joyful moments for them both!
Philadelphia Wedding Day
To start the day, Kat and Jason got ready at the Hotel Monaco in the Old City. Kat enjoyed a drink with her bridesmaids before she got into her incredible wedding gown! Jason did the same in his suite. I absolutely adore these rooms at the Hotel Monaco. They’re gorgeous – and their wallpaper is so fun! It made the perfect backdrop for their prep photos. When Kat and Jason were ready, they met for a first look before we walked through some of the historic Old City monuments. The Merchant’s Exchange and First Bank were our top priorities. Honestly, I love how romantic and elegant the older parts of Philadelphia are!
Kat and Jason had a super fun ceremony and it was officiated by a friend. The entire ceremony felt so personal and included some really funny moments. He even printed out their dating profiles to share. It was absolutely perfect for Kat and Jason – I know they loved it.
Please Touch Museum Wedding
After the ceremony, everyone headed to the Please Touch Museum. We were able to capture more portraits of Kat and Jason with their wedding party, who were just there cheering on their friends. It was amazing to watch. When we were done with the portraits, it was time to party! The entire evening was lots of fun, too. To start, their wedding party made personalized signs to hold up when the couple was introduced. It was awesome! After their first dance Kat broke down in tears because she was just so happy for them! The night continued with both sets of parents giving amazing and adorable speeches, which had Kat and Jason both in tears. The rest of the night was spent dancing and celebrating with their loved ones.
