One of the coolest parts of my job is getting to see some of the most incredible venues throughout Philly. This fall, Jillian and Mike got married at the BLDG39 at The Arsenal and were one of the first couples to do so! It’s a beautiful venue in Philadelphia (with parking!) and Jillian was able to really put her touch on the day. It was a really incredible wedding day and so fun to explore this new venue in the city with a wonderful couple.

Philadelphia PA Wedding Day

I love when couples get ready at home. For this wedding day, Mike got ready at his and Jillian’s home. In fact, you can see how stylish they really are – and how they were able to bring these vibes into their wedding day. I just think there’s something special about getting ready for the biggest day of your life in a space that matters to you. Jillian got ready onsite at the Arsenal with her ladies. They had such a cool room – with these amazing frosted windows! They were the perfect backdrop for her getting ready portraits.

After Jilian and Mike were both ready, they had a first look. It was super sweet and we managed to fit it all in before it started raining. We even managed to capture portraits of them and their bridal party outside before the rain got bad. I love the little burgundy gowns that Jillian chose for her bridesmaids! They were so chic and yet perfect for a fall wedding. Plus, they looked AMAZING outside the Arsenal with the exposed brick!

Wedding at BLDG39 at the Arsenal

Jillian and Michael held their ceremony and reception in the same space inside the Arsenal. They leaned into rich jewel tones for their decor: burgundy, golds, copper, sepia, and ivory. With some floral installations at the end of the aisle, they created a beautiful focal point to stand in front of to exchange vows. It was absolutely perfect! After their ceremony, the vendor team finished prepping the space for their reception. I’m still obsessed with the colors that Jillian and Michael chose for their details. Everything looked amazing together, super elevated in the space at the Arsenal.

The rest of the evening was spent celebrating with their family and friends! Some of my favorite moments of Jillian and Michael’s celebration are from the reception, actually. Watching them listen to the speeches from their friends and family was so special. You can tell that they’re so loved – and that they loved everyone in that room, too.

Congratulations on a beautiful Philadelphia wedding day, Jillian and Michael. I absolutely loved working at Arsenal and can’t wait to come back!
