Race Street Pier Engagement Session filed under: Couples

It was a really perfect fall day when I met Andreas and Patrick at Race Street Pier for their engagement session. Race Street Pier in Philadelphia is a really beautiful location. You have great views of the river and bridge and you’re also a short walk away from some great Old City streets.

Andreas, Patrick and I had discussed earlier whether or not to do one and I’m so happy that they decided to. We decided to keep it short but it ended up being the perfect amount of time. Whenever couples ask about their engagement sessions with me, I let them know that the length of them can range. E-sessions are a great way to get to know each other and for that reason I’ve never set a limit on the sessions. So why did we decide on a short engagement session? Andreas and I are old friends. I was lucky enough to meet him years ago through work. I enjoyed countless conversations with him. He’s a great listener and always made me laugh. When he got engaged I was thrilled that he thought of me to capture his day.

We walked around on the pier, enjoying the view of the river and the warm sun. I love being able to catch up with friends while working. Most people tell me they think they’re awkward in front of the camera but once we start talking and moving, those feelings start to fade away. Scroll down to see more of this sweet session with my dear friends.
