Sarah and Lane live in Philadelphia, so we knew that when we began planning their engagement portraits that we’d want to honor that part of their love story. We settled on Old City Philadelphia. It was the perfect way to celebrate them and I loved exploring the city with Sarah and Lane. They’re just the sweetest couple and are constantly making each other laugh. It was easy to be around them, and document their beautiful relationship.
Old City Philadelphia Engagement Portraits
For Sarah and Lane’s engagement session, we started at Merchant’s Bank and just wandered around from there. Personally, I think that’s the best way to find the perfect spots for photos! I love Philadelphia’s side streets because you can always find a beautiful doorstep or street while walking. We found so many great spots for Sarah and Lane to cuddle up together. Some of my favorite spots included the brick walkway and the wooden doors we found.
Sarah’s outfit was absolutely amazing! I love when my brides wear white or ivory during their engagement session and her dress was perfect! It was so chic and looked amazing on her. Lane matched Sarah’s energy with his navy suit. They opted for a great stylish look, which looked awesome against the old architecture of Old City Philadelphia.
Although I’m sharing their engagement session now, Sarah and Lane are already husband and wife! They had a beautiful September wedding day and I can’t wait to share it with you soon. In the meantime, enjoy these gorgeous Old City Philadelphia engagement portraits.
