Paxson Hill Farm Wedding

When Katie and I met at Paxson Hill Farm to scout locations for their wedding portraits and just check out the venue, it was a gorgeous day in August. Katie showed me around Paxon Hill Farm, where the wedding ceremony would take place, and practically jumped up and down with excitement as we explored locations for portraits.. Its an amazing place to visit, full of surprises at every corner. If you’re in the New Hope area, I highly recommend visiting. They have an actual maze on the property and even a hobbit house. Paxson Hill Farm is really is one of the most unique places to have a wedding.

Closer to Katie and Shawn’s wedding day the forecast turned to rain and boy did it rain!! We had moments of lighter rain and were able to do their first look without getting completely soaked. The rest of the day wasn’t quite as kind. Katie & Shawn couldn’t have had better attitudes about the weather. Nothing was going to ruin their day, just being together was all that mattered. They are really just happy to be with one another and it’s completely adorable. I don’t think either of them mentioned the rain or complained once the entire day. With rain boots in tow, they were married under a sea of umbrellas. One of my favorite photos is of their ceremony and all of the umbrellas covering family and friends.

The wedding reception was under a tent and while the rain continued through the evening it didn’t stop the party from continuing on. They danced the night away until the tealights and stars without a care in the world that their feet were muddy. I hope you enjoy this Paxson Hill Farm wedding as much as I do!
