Samantha and Tom are getting married! To celebrate their upcoming wedding day, we planned a gorgeous engagement session in Philadelphia. From the moment we started chatting, Samantha shared a really great vision for their engagement session. Together, we brainstormed and came up with a session that they would absolutely love. The end result was a super chic rooftop engagement session in Center City, capturing the city that Samantha and Tom love!
Rooftop Engagement Session in Center City
Samantha’s vision for their engagement session felt very chic and stylish. She and Tom brought the look with their outfits for our portraits. Samantha’s dress is so fun – white and sleek with feathery accents on the shoulders and Tom looked very stylish in a grey suit paired with a white button down. They looked incredible… honestly like they’d just stepped out of a magazine, and it was perfect!!! We started their session at the bar of the hotel they were staying in, which gave us some super dramatic backdrops for the start of their session. I played around with some flash to create high-end fashion inspired photos for Samantha and Tom. They turned out super fun.
After we were done at the bar and hotel, we made our way to Center City. There, we picked out a building to get onto the rooftop -featuring incredible views of Philly around us. I played around with the angles and poses that we chose, but everything really had that chic and upscale vibe. It was honestly a lot of fun to create portraits with this style and energy. Samantha and Tom were such great sports too, allowing me to get creative and trusting me throughout the whole process. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect couple!
I cannot wait to photograph Samantha and Tom’s wedding in October! If this session is anything to go by, I know it’s going to be a truly stunning day!
