Devika and Mike are getting married! I met up with them at the always beautiful FDR Park in Philadelphia, PA for their engagement portraits on a warm summer night. The light the night of their engagement session was absolutely stunning – we truly lucked out – and I had a wonderful time enjoying the evening with them. I’m so excited to be sharing their engagement portraits at FDR Park in Philadelphia with you today!
FDR Park Engagement Session
When we arrived at FDR Park, we were so happy to see that the cherry blossoms were still in bloom! Devika and Mike were amazing, playing and walking among the blooms so that we could use them in their photos. One of the reasons I love FDR Park is because they have these gorgeous blooms and wide open spaces, as well as a lake and stone structures. We can get so many looks all in one spot! It’s a dream for engagement photos! Devika and Mike chose the perfect outfits for their summer engagement portraits too. With blue and yellow as their base colors, they really popped against the setting sun and greenery of the park.
Devika and Mike clearly have so much fun together. They just compliment one another and it’s special to watch them be themselves. It’s one of the reasons I adore engagement sessions. It’s a great chance to get to know my couples better, and watch them in a more relaxed and playful environment. Devika and Mike snuggled together, held hands, and enjoyed exploring the park alongside me. Truly, it was a beautiful evening!
Devika and Mike just got married this June at Terrain in Glen Mills and I can’t wait to share their amazing day on the blog soon! It was a truly beautiful celebration for Devika and Mike!
