Casey and Allen were married at Durham Hill Farm this summer. It was a truly gorgeous day and celebration for the newlyweds! The Farm is beautiful with a large field with horses and a big open barn that overlooks the ceremony location. They put a lot of details into their day that brought their personalities to life, and frankly, made it that much more fun to photograph for them. I love when I get to see my couples really come through in their wedding day decisions.
Durham Hill Farm Wedding
Beyond just being a gorgeous venue, I love working at Durham Hill because we get to walk right into the fields to take pictures with the horses. As someone who grew up riding, I feel right at home! Once I arrived at Casey and Allen’s wedding day, I couldn’t wait until we got out in the fields. Before we could do that, though, Casey had to finish getting ready. She prepared with her ladies before meeting her dad for a super sweet and fun first look. He sent her to meet Allen when they were all done. Durham Hill Farm had tons of great little spots for a quiet moment for the bride and groom. After their first look, we were able to capture some of their newlywed portraits around the farm – including some photos with two donkeys.
Plumsteadville PA Wedding Day
Casey and Allen really brought their own touches to their wedding day. One of the best was that Casey’s Uncle was their officiant. I love that they chose to sign their license right after the ceremony and then greet every guest who came to celebrate with them as they left their ceremony. It was so special and a great way to take time for everyone.
Their reception was an absolute blast! They brought some elegant pink, gold, and white details to the reception room at Durham Hill Farm. Casey and Allen also had those donkeys out for cocktail hour for petting – which their many niece and nephews loved! Their reception was definitely a party – with lots of dancing. Everyone had a blast. Casey and Allen stole a private last dance before exiting their dream wedding day!
