Meridian Hill Park Engagement Session
Y’all, when I talk about that fall light, this is what I’m dreaming of. Breana and Mike’s Meridian Hill Park Engagement Session was beyond perfect.
I had never been to Meridian Hill Park and on a perfect day like this it was packed! There were people in every corner, a large drum circle performing, acrobatic yoga, tightrope practice just to name a few. If you’ve never been, its really an amazing place to visit. When we walked into the park, I actually couldn’t believe how busy it was. For a minute I was worried that photographing their engagement session would be a little tougher here – However, you wouldn’t know it was so packed from looking at these pictures though. We were able to find several little nooks of the park to be a little more secluded.
Breana and Mike live in Washington D.C. and don’t live far from Meridian Hill Park. They walked to meet me there late on one of those perfect fall days. I couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better sunset. I always explain to couples that the first 15 minutes of an engagement session might be a little uncomfortable but it always fades away. If Breana and Mike were uncomfortable, it was really hard to tell. They clearly have so much fun together and fall into each other in the most loving ways. Bre fits perfectly into Mike and they easily transition from laughter to quiet moments together. I didn’t have to say much more then “snuggle up together” and they did. Like puzzle pieces finding their match, these two just fit perfectly. I’m counting down the days until their fall Maine wedding! Fingers crossed we get a sunset like this.
