When Alison & Chris first inquired with me about wedding photography I *almost* thought it couldn’t be a real inquiry. Everything they talked about being important to their day and what was most significant to them really hit home with me. I was thrilled when they decided to book and even more so when they wanted to do an engagement session. They mentioned to me that they loved the candids and emotion of my work and I wanted to capture that for them, so I took a complete step back from any posing I might use when my couples need some direction. We met at Wissahickon Park for a hike. We spent the afternoon talking, walking, and getting to know each other. And I snapped away while we talked.
What I love about these two is how they gravitate towards each other. What I picked up on through our first talk definitely came through in person. They are genuine, caring, loving people. We had such a good time hiking through the woods and I even got to document their pup attempting her first swim! Their wedding day was even more amazing so stay tuned for an upcoming blog featuring that!
